I thought a few posts on items we seem to have an abundance of might be useful...and wire hangers and pantyhose are definite essentials of our current lifestyle!
Our first tip (from Real Simple) is for our friend (and foe) the wire hanger:
Original purpose: Hanging clothes.
Aha! use: Removing static cling. Run the long side of a wire hanger over your skirt, and between your skirt and tights or slip.

Reward: Lose the disheveled look and the chemical sprays.
Our second tip has examples and tutorials throughout the web (Google it!), and utilizes both wire hangers AND pantyhose!
If you've yet to decide on a Halloween costume, wire hangers can be shaped into the most awesome bat wings...stretch over a pair of your least favorite off-blacks, and ta-da! Instant bat gear.
