142-room independent lifestyle property on downtown square slated to open in 2024.

BENTONVILLE, ARK. – June 21, 2023 – Dallas-based Practice Hospitality has been selected to operate the independent lifestyle hotel under construction on the picturesque downtown Bentonville square. The award-winning boutique hotel-management company was selected by Blue Crane, the developer, after a nationwide search. Upon opening, this will be Practice Hospitality’s sixth lifestyle property under management across the nation.

Scheduled to open in the second half of 2024, the new hotel will occupy the corner on East Central Avenue and SE A Street overlooking the Downtown square, which is the heart of the community and home to many lively hospitality options, as well as the Wal-Mart Museum located in the original Walton’s Five and Dime. The new hotel will contribute to the evolution and elevation of the city’s lodging offerings, with 142 spacious, beautifully appointed guestrooms, a ground floor destination restaurant and café, 3,300 square feet of meeting space and a jewel-box second-floor cocktail bar.

“Practice Hospitality shares our passion with this project, and they are committed to ensuring this hotel is one Bentonville can be proud of for years to come,” said Robert Vertes, Blue Crane’s Director of Design and Development for the hotel. “With their help, we’ll be able to craft the hotel as a destination for not only travelers, but also as a place for the Bentonville community to gather and engage. With their impressive past and present portfolio of hotels and industry connections, I know we have the right partners at the table.”

Bashar Wali, Founder & CEO of Practice, said his company is honored to have been selected to manage the hotel.  “We create great experiences travelers seek out and return to, time and time again, by balancing emotional intelligence, tradition, ritual and creativity,” Wali said. “When that happens, hospitality comes alive – and results follow.”
